Meet Andrea Camiolo
An animal and foster pet lover
Andrea and her family live in Oldham County. Her family consists of a son that goes to North Oldham High School and a daughter that attends U of L. As a family, they have fostered over 250 dogs through GRRAND and Kentucky Mutts Rescue for over 20 years. Their current pets include a 3-year-old Pyrenees mix named Mowgli, 3 cats, named Izzy, Beau and Kibou, and a bearded dragon named Aurora. She loves all animals and enjoys spending time interacting with them.
Meet Beka Vaile
A Louisville Zoo employee and animal lover
She has a boxer named Belle who is her baby! They enjoy going on walks and snuggling on the couch. She loves being active, working out, and exploring the outdoors.
Meet Lee Camiolo
A student and life-long animal lover
Lee lives in downtown Louisville near the University of Louisville campus while pursuing a degree in Business. She has a cat, Kibou, who has feline leukemia that she greatly adores. Her boyfriend is Active Duty military. She grew up in a family that fostered dogs of all sizes, ages, and disabilities, and she was an avid horseback rider until recently selling her horses, having had much success with them in eventing. She takes pride in giving the best care to each animal in her care and advocating towards their individual needs.
Meet Stashia Smyrichinsky
Lover of all animals, art and staying active.
Stashia and her three cats live in the Germantown neighborhood, but grew up out in the country in Georgetown, Indiana. She loves hiking, yoga, meditation, reading, making lists, playing music, and making art of all mediums. She is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at Indiana University Southeast, majoring in printmaking. She has hopes of continuing her studies and teaching art in Japan, which she considers the most peaceful place in the world.
Meet Laura Hardaway
A Vet Tech whose life is all about her love of animals
Laura has been a vet tech for over 16 years, a job she loves! She has always loved being around animals, especially dogs. When not working, she spends most of her time with her best friend hiking, walking their dogs and watching TV.
Meet Ciana Lancaster
Grad Student and Life Long Pet Owner
Ciana lives in the East End near the Paddock Shops with her dog, Aaro, and cat, Alice. She recently moved back to Louisville after graduating from college and is working towards getting a Master’s degree. She loves hiking, reading, and watching movies on the couch with her pets. While in college in South Carolina, Ciana loved to foster animals through the animal local shelter. She has grown up with pets her whole life and enjoys having a walking buddy. Ciana loves all animals and learning about their different personalities!
Meet Regina Panebianco
Medical professional and unique pet owner
Regina is originally from Long Island, New York. She comes from a close-knit Italian/Irish family. She has worked mostly in the Medical field doing such work as Medical Assisting in Doctor’s offices, Phlebotomy, Lab Asst/Processing in hospitals and American Red Cross settings, training in a domestic violence shelter. She has also worked with mentally challenged teenage girls in a dormitory-like setting, as well as EMS work in the Southern Indiana/Louisville area. She currently works a seasonal retail job while in the process of starting a new position where she will be working from home for a local Medical Waste Management Company. She has a great love for all animals, having owned lots of different types of pets including dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards/geckos, a unique pure white Dove, and varied fish. She currently owns 3 cats.
Meet Shannon Jones
A volunteer and advocate for people and pets
Shannon lives in the East end of Louisville near the Summit/Paddock shops with her husband, two teenagers, a golden retriever and two bearded dragons. She works part-time with adults that have developmental disabilities to ensure they experience community inclusion, taking them to the movies, grocery, craft fairs, etc. She has a passion for people and pets that don’t have a voice. She has had dogs, cats and other pets all her life and can’t envision life without them. She volunteered for golden retriever rescue for many years and fostered medically fragile dogs. She loves how each individual dog and cat has their unique personality with little quirks, likes and dislikes. She looks forward to getting to know your pets and catering to their individual needs along with lots of love and kisses!
Meet Stephanie Green
A Zookeeper and avid exerciser
Stephanie lives in the J-town area of Louisville. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Kentucky Wesleyan College. She & her boyfriend share life with an all-white cat and two dogs, a lab mix and a pit mix. She works as a zookeeper at the Louisville Zoo, taking care of bears, seals, and sea lions. She enjoys staying active with CrossFit and walking, running & hiking in the magnificent local parks of Louisville. Animals have been her passion all her life and she couldn’t imagine doing anything else with her career.
Meet Wanda Bastert
Horse and animal lover
Wanda is Wendy’s twin sister and is the reason Wendy can do overnights for clients, taking care of Wendy’s dog & cat while Wendy is out taking care of other people’s pets! She also fills in on an as-needed basis for select pet sitting clients. Wanda’s full-time profession is as an agent for New York Life Insurance where she helps people protect their assets with annuities, life insurance, long-term care insurance and strategic investment vehicles.
