Want to be a Pet Sitter or a Dog Walker?
What are the benefits of hiring a professional dog walker?
Regular dog walking provides essential physical exercise, mental stimulation, and a necessary potty break. These structured outings help prevent destructive behaviors at home by burning off excess energy and reducing anxiety.
Are your dog walkers and pet sitters insured?
Yes. The Life of Riley is fully insured and bonded, ensuring that both your home and your pets are protected during every visit.
Can you walk my dog while I am at work?
Yes, we offer flexible dog walking schedules in Louisville and surrounding neighborhoods to accommodate busy professionals, ensuring your dog gets a vital mid-day break and socialization.
What happens during a pet sitting visit?
Our pet sitters provide feeding (upon request), fresh water, exercise, and plenty of affection. To provide extra value, we also perform basic home security checks, such as bringing in mail or rotating lights, while you are away.
How do you handle reactive dogs during walks?
Our walkers are trained in canine behavior and use “decompression walk” techniques to keep reactive dogs safe and calm. We focus on low-stress environments to ensure your dog has a positive experience in public spaces.
